Dhulikhel Day Hike

Trip Overview:
Like any other hill stations near Kathmandu, Dhulikhel is also famous for its mountain views. What makes it different is that views from Dhulikhel are more astounding than from anywhere. It is a hill station on the eastern side of Kathmandu, 32 km away where can drive in just 1 and half hour. Once in Dhulikhel we have a choice for doing either a day hike to nearby villages or continue on towards Nagarkot (5-6 hours will be needed for so).

"Dhulikhel is on the way to Kodari - a town in Nepal bordering with Tibet. You can visit Dhulikhel either from Kathmandu or by stopping on the way if you are coming from Tibet."

After breakfast, we drive 32 kms east of Kathmandu to Dhulikhel. The artistic skill and urban ethos of its Newar inhabitants have created a place of charm and beauty. Then to the north are views of many of the world's highest mountains.

We drive back to Kathmandu in the evening.

This is how the day will be like -

07:00 AM - Breakfast at Hotel
07:30 - Pickup at Hotel, drive to Dhulikhel (32 kms, 1 hr 30 minutes)
09:00 - Arrive in Dhulikhel

Local hikes and stop for lunch

17:00 - Drive back to Kathmandu (depending on your interest, hike may end at
Nagarkot or back at Dhulikhel)

Who will be in the team?

You, few other participants and a very friendly team member/guide from our company.
