Pyramid shaped Mount Ama dablam (6812m) is one of the impressive mountains in the world. Situated in the heart of Everest trekking area, above the Tengboche Monastery on the well worn way to Everest base camp and is admired by thousands of trekkers and climbers every year. Ama Dablam was first climbed on 13 March 1961 by Mike Gill (NZ), Barry Bishop (USA), Mike Ward (UK) and Wally Romanes (NZ) via the Southwest Ridge. Ama dablam expedition is the technically difficult expedition; climbers need to have good skills on rock climbing, ice climbing and technically competent. Normally, three camps are set in the approach above the base camp (4,570m), however, only two camps are used to spend the night. The normal route for climbing is South-West Ridge. Best climbing months are April to May in spring season and September to October in autumn season.

Day 1          Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
Day 2         Documentation preparation day for office O/N Hotel
Day 3         Fly  to Lukla  and trek further to Mondjo (2800m, 4hr), or Phakdingma O/N lodge .
Day 4         Trek  to Namche Bazar village (3400m) O/N Lodge
Day 5         Rest day in Namche Bazar.
Day 6         Trek to   Tengboche monastery (3860m)(4hr)  O/N Lodge
Day 7         Trek to Pangboche and O/N Lodge
Day 8         Trek to Amadablam Base Camp and O/N Camp
Day 9 - 28   Climbing Period of Ama Dablam (B.C./Summit /B.C.)
Day 29        Trek Descent to Namche Bazar.
Day 30        Trek Descent to Lukla.
Day 31        Flight to Kathmandu. Hotel Thamel.
Day 32        Flight home.
