Makalu (8,463) is an isolated peak, It has proved to be a challenging climbing, as only five of its first sixteen attempts were successful. Makalu trek starts with a flight to Tumlinngtar then we ascend through Sherpa villages and cultivated fields with views of the Chamlang range in the distance and walk up the lush and beautiful Arun valley. Makalu Expedition itinerary has been carefully designed to allow for gradual ascend and proper acclimatization by our expert climbing guide Sherpa.
